Year 2019 was a crises driven eventful year for Pakistan. e country faced political, economic, and diplomatic challenges while dealing with a troubled neighbourhood. The shifting international order added to the complexity of the situation. Externally, Pakistan was caught in renewed tensions with India, but at the same time played a much larger role in the U.S. -Taliban peace talks and pushed to reset bilateral relationship with Washington. Pakistan also steered ties with China and Russia steadily and managed relations with key Muslim countries.
